If you have a photo that is very large, collage maker will prompt you on whether you would like to resize the photo. Photo collage maker does not resize the photo on the disk drive. If you choose to resize the photo, collage maker’s memory requirements for that photo can be significantly reduced.

Collage (.CLG) is a project file which contains a many configuration settings but doesn’t actually contain any graphical content. The collage (.CLG) file is a proprietary file that can only be used with collage maker so you will not be able to email the CLG to someone and expect them to see the collage.

Collage maker includes a collection of background textures/holiday themes. These textures are tiled to fill the entire canvas of the collage. The textures list box on the left side panel is used to preview and select the textures.
You can browse your hard disk for textures by right clicking on an empty region of the canvas and then selecting the menu option “Background Textures. JPEG, BMP, and GIF files can all be used as textures.
